Fuel feed assembly?

6R5-24408-00-00 FUEL FEED ASSY on P150TLRS. What does it do? It's after the fuel filter, inline. Seems to be only listed for PRO-V 150 not reg 150 or 200.

It's a check valve. Helps to keep fuel from draining back when shut off.

It is used and several other models mainly used on larger hp models.

Does it help restart after sitting? Would it make sense to put it on a motor that didn't come with it?

no.
I typically gut them.
the oring tends to swell and cause issues.
