I ordered the dual kit but the joints are different that the heim type that are shown in the illustration (and that I need). Which is better?

If you are talking a Dual steering tie bar for twin engines then Yamaha only offers one that end joints are held to rod with bolt, Teleflex offers one that has ball joints maybe that is what was on it. Either one will work. -
The picture on your web site shows the ones I need but that's not what came in the kit.Comment

The old tie bars had ball joints but Yamaha changed it years ago.Comment

Haven't had any trouble out of the new one but have seen a lot of the ball joint go bad on older one.Comment
