I just finished a tiller conversion on a T8, but I didn't have the couple hundred $$$ to purchase a new tiller handle. If you are handy with a couple tools and have about $45 cash you can build a tiller handle. Don't laugh too hard. It works really well.

If in your opinion is to expensive a new one get a used tiller somewhere.
