  • Questions regarding 1992 70TLRQ Yamaha carburetor rebuild

What is the easiest way to remove the center body 2, part # 38 on the carburetor diagram? And, how much voltage should I have going to the starter assembly on the center carburetor?

looks like you are speaking about the prime Start system.
Should have 12 volts from motors charging system only while motor is running.

I believe you would need to just pop it out once the diaphragm and cover are removed, but it has been awhile since I removed one.

But I do not see anything to hold it in there other than that.
    Just an opinion though

Thanks for the info. The part did pop out but I guess it had been in there so long that the back side cracked when it came out. Ordered new part. Thanks again for the info!
