Having problems removing my lower unit. Have all the bolts removed but cannot figure out where the shift rod disconnects. Can anyone help?

this should just slide out, it is splined.. if this is the first time the lower unit is coming off, it might be held on by the paint. take the palm of your hand and smack the skeg sidways it should break loose... -
Make sure you have all the bolts out. There's a hidden bolt under the trim tab I believe.Comment
