throttle distance

how can I shorten the distance of the to controls to full throttle. I want the forward motion when it is 3/4 of the way to full throttle, to actually become full throttle. Its hard to see but have a gps/depth finder mounted on a bracket I made and want full throttle to be righ at the bracket.

no way to tighten cables in the motor itself?

You can remove lever and move back one notch on shaft or install 704-48293-00-00 wedge under control box.

I dont want to raise it any higher. just want throttle to be more sensitive with less travel to reach full throttle.

Remove rubber grommet, bolts behind.and as he said move handle back one notch, and top end will be approximately 2 inches back toward driver
