P125A KS 1968 ish.

Hi, i am new to the forum, i have just bought a P125A K.S outboard to go with my inflatable dinghy

My question is, can i reduce the amount of 2 stroke oil added to the Kerosene from the recommended 20-1, as two stroke oil has come along way since 1968 when this engine was developed and i would like to reduce the amount of smoke emitted and plug fouling

The two stroke oil i am using is; Putoline MX5 synthetic off road.

We don't have any information or experience with that model as they were never sold here in USA.

I have no idea, might contact Yamaha or a dealer thats familiar with those engines.
