  • Water pressure sensor mounting

    Hi
    I have a 2012 F250 XCA.
The Yamaha gauges have a cooling system water pressure reading.
The dealer told me to buy the $140 water pressure sensor part number
    10-6AW-8366B-00-00 which I did.
I can find the harness connector in the back of the engine but not sure where to screw in the sensor?
It has about a 8 -9mm thread and any of the cooling system plugs where the connector would reach are much larger.
I am not seeing where to screw in the sensor.

Can any one provide detaile where the sensor should be mounted.

    Thank You

Here is instruction guide but illustrations are not very good, port on right rear side of engine and wire harness with "W" is there by port.

Thanks for the information. As I expected I need a "Connector" to adapt the sensor to the head.
The manual did not show the part number and I went to the parts list and found the adapters for the speed sonsor and not the water pressure.

Any chance you could provide the connector part number so I can order it from you folks?

      Thank You

They should have sold you 69J-8A4L0-11-00 Water Pressure Sensor kit which includes all parts needed to install.

To use sensor you have would need,
        63P-8366C-00-00 Adapter
        90430-14115-00 Gasket
