Gauges not working

I have twin 150 hp 2008. All of a sudden, all 4 guages show the normal readings with the key in the "on" but non-start position but when you start both engines, the gauges do not read any engine info including fuel, trim position, etc.The gauges just read as though the keys are "on" only. Other than that, they both run fine.

What model motors do you have? What make and model gauges do you have?
Check all wiring going to gauges.

These are all Yamaha motors & guages mfg in 2007 & installed in 2008 on a Sailfish 23" center console. I don't know if I had a lightning strike or ? but I lost my GPS & Lenco trim tabs at the same time. Everything else works such as engines, VHF, AM/FM radio. The Lenco unit's module had to be replaced & the Garmin GPS was rebuilt. All wiring is tight throughout.
The Yamaha gauges read when you turn the key to on position but after starting engines, the guages do not read any engine info or fuel level, etc.
Any thoughts?

in 07 and 08 two versions of the digital package was avalible.
the standard 6y5 and command link.

check all buss hubs, check all main buss cables.make sure the terminating resistor caps are stilll in place,
