1996 C25elru 25 hp 2 stroke
Hi all. I'm new to the forum here. I went to go start my boat after sitting for two years and it wouldn't start. It seemed to flood very easily. The carb has never been cleaned so I figure I would give it a cleaning. Once it was disassembled The float seemed a little brittle so I ordered the rebuild kit ,

I am wondering about the new floats position. It seems to be much lower than the original when the carb is upside down. Should this float be adjusted to level with the carbs housing? I'm not sure and do not have a service manual.
