  • Yamaha F115 NMEA Plug

I have a 2005 Yamaha F115. I've seen a lot of info on here about connecting the motor up to Lowrance Depth and GPS units via NEMA cables. My motor has one connetor behind the main round wiring connector that comes from the console. This unused connector is white and has 2 pink + 1 pink with blue strip and pink with black stripe wires, I have also found an unused blue wire on front of motor below fuse box. Is it possible to use NMEA Cales to hook this motor to a Lowrance HDS GPS Unit.

I currently have Pro series Analog Tach that is hooked up however, dealer for some reason did not hook up oil and water warning lights that come on the analog tach. How would I hook these up?

Thanks for any help with this

a 2005 yamaha f115 is not NMEA compatible.
you would need the trim oil harness for the lights to work.

68F-82553-60-00 is the 20 foot harness, on 2005 and newer only the male plug is used.
