  • Oil leak

Seems elementary but I can not find the oil leak on my starboard F250. It only occurs occasionally and only when the engine is in the full tilt up position and left overnight or longer. It has only happened a few times and never had to add oil but it is a nuisance and the dripings collect in the transome well. The dipstick seals tight and the sump of the engine enclosure is clean of residual oil. When this occurs the oil exits the enclosure near the vicinity of the main wiring harness entry point at front bottom of engine.

Oil in splash well could be hydraulic steering leak, check seals on steering cylinder.
