  • tilt trim problem

Hi Guys I was very amused to find that when signing up for this forum
that I had to answer a simple Question I guess to prove I am a real person
My question was what is the answer to this Quote
What goes up must come ______
Which is the whole reason I am here.
My 1998 Yamaha 50hp carby fourstroke is stuck up
the buttons both on the stick and on the motor are working to trim
the motor up but not down. I am guessing it must be a relay switch??
But not sure where that is (I am a carpenter and if it aint made of wood )
Can anyone tell me what I should expect to pay if it is infact a
    relay switch?? Regards Ant

I have the same motor, 1999, and I am having issues as well, the relay is below the starter motor very low in the pan, it is P/N 6H1-81950-00-00 and sells for $165.00, I found a web site that advises P/N 6E5-81950-01-00 has replaced it, and it sells for $85.48, maybe somebody could confirm that for us and save us a few bucks....Mine is just clicking, won't go up or down....
