90 TRL Break in Procedure

Should I use Ringfree or Seafoam during the first 10 hours, or wait until the break-in is over. On my Mercury, was told to wait until after break-in, everyone seems to have a different opinion on the Yamaha.

Hello BDJ49,

I think this is personal preference. Personally, I would only use "Yamaha approved" products during the break-in period.

If something were to go wrong, your dealer might suggest it was the fault of "xyz" product.
