  • Correct size fuel line

What is the correct size fuel line for a 90hp tlrq 1992 Yamaha outboard. There is a 1/4 inch line presently from the water seperator to prime , to engine. Will a larger line flood the carbs? The present lines need to be replaced.

When the smallest line is 1/4", I think all the lines under the cowling are also 1/4" as well, that's all you need. All a larger hose will do is give you a little more fuel capacity. Any hoses you do replace, need to ethanol resistance, or you will just have to do it again later. The fuel line to the engine is a connected to a 1/4' inch fitting at the engine as well. You will not flood the engine by using a larger line.
