  • 2004 115TLRC tough cold start???

I have a 2005 SEA Pro with a 2004 yammy 115 TLRC (two stroke). I purchased it two years ago running rough and needing carbs rebuilt, etc. Since then I have had the carbs off twice and cleaned / rebuilt, changed fuel / water filter twice, changed the fuel pump, and will be changing all the fuel lines (including primer) this week. It starts and runs great after it has been started once!! But if it sits a couple of days or is trailered it will crank for ever. Usually it spits (pops) several times but just not fire. Usually I end up pulling the manual choke and just bumping the throttle a little and cranking it several times (sometimes it takes 15-20 minutes) before it will fire, then it runs great, fires the instant you touch the key, great power, no stalls, ***** all day if you want....???

Remove air silencer and check that the choke plates are closing completly and check electric choke operation, make sure carbs are synchronized properly.
