  • metal tanks?

I have a chance to buy two 6 gallon portable metal Yamaha gas tanks. My question is there does not seem to be a vent on the tanks like there is on the cap of the plastic tanks. Should there be a vent? According to the seller they work fine, but I am puzzled by the vent thing. I forgot to open the vent on my plastic tank and it collapsed the bulb on the primer. Any comments? Tanks look fine otherwise.

Thanks for the reply, I looked these over and cant see any way they would be vented except by cracking the cap. They seal really tight because when I open them the air rushes in.

The vent is by fuel connector but tank will still retain some pressure, may be able to buy an aftermarket vented gas cap that will fit.
