On a 1993 ,70 hp TLR is the timing advanced by a mechanical linkage or is it advanced by electronics?

90hp still stalls after 1,200 rpm

Sill fighting stalling after 1,200 rpm and engin is warm parts that have been replaced, CDI, wiring harness from CDI to coils and injection oil tank, spark plugs ,fuel filters, fuel pump diagram , reed valves needle and seats jets and Floats in all carbs. Timings has been checked And right on could the coil and pick-ups under the fly wheel be the problem?

Has this motor magically turned into a 90 from the 70 it was before?

Compression, spark, and timing are all easy to test.If all that is good then you are left with fuel problem.
Are you saying spark is going away or timing is going out of spec at the problem RPM? Or do you not know because you have not tested?

Yes you can test the charge coil and pulser coils under flywheel along with the rest of the ignition system. Yamaha service manual for your motor has steps and specs. Need to use peak reading volt meter made for these ignition systems or a DVA adapter with regular meter

              Still a 70hp

All compression have been check spark check fuel check it seams once you throttle up to 1200 RPM your fine but if you try to bump the throttle up just a bit it seams like you pulled the kill switch . Shift Back to neutral and it starts right up. Were do you thing I should be looking

And you're absolutely, dead sure that all the carb jets and passages are clean and clear?

If you suspect it is loosing spark, then test like I said before.
This motor may have a low speed and a high speed charge coil

                    Mexico Phil 70hp

Ck the resistance at the coil puler mounted out side the flywheel it was in spec
Ck the resistance at the coil charge three green wires coming from under flywheel also in spec.
Ck resistance at crank position sender also in spec.

The book doesn't show a low speed and high speed coil if there is one is it under the flywheel ? This moter is in Mexico and I only get to work on it every other weekend . Headed down again tomorrow to try again.

                    Thanks for your help
