1990 225 etxd no RPM,no oil transfer,green arrow....?

Ido not have a rpm signal coming from plug at the main harness under the YMIS,I am checking the green wire there.Is there something else I shoulb be checking? I have pulled coils off and cleanand bench tested them,all seem good,within specs of manual.I hope this is not a case of a dead YMIS. If so how can I verify that it is fact DEAD? Thanks in advance!

check the signal on the AC setting on your meter.
signal is generated by the ECU based on pulser coil signals.

any oil transfer issues will have nothing to do with tach signal.
