1990 CV40ELD Motor Flush

Referring to the arrow and circled area on the attached photo, does removing the plug on the lower cylinder head provide a port for flushing salt from the motor?

That does go into water passage on head cover but don't know how good it work for flushing.

Before running the motor in a barrel with Salt-Away, it seemed that it might be effective to flush Salt-Away directly through the head and block passages if a suitable port can be found. This looked like a good place to start!

Can anyone comment on this idea?
