Lowrance HDS unit NMEA 2000 set-up for F225

Has anyone here set up their Lowrance to read their engine? The book that comes with the Lowrance is terrible. I have the unit seeing my engine but need some advice on how to get hours, gph, etc displayed. I also connected the 2 pink wires so that the unit should display the trim and it doesn't apprear to be doing so. Any help with that would be appreciated too.

I'm not sure about the Lowrance but the Garmin is pretty easy to do. From the Menu go to Information and then to Dashboard. You then had to setup how many boxes you wanted (up to 6) to show different items to include trim. I know that the Lowrance has different gauges than the Garmin. Also, stuff like filling the fuel tanks has to be done with the key switch on to reset the numbers with my Garmin. Good luck and just play around with it, you can't hurt anything.
