How do I tell if the fuel filter under the cowl needs to be emptied just by looking at it? Thanks

Sometimes you can see some water in the bottom of the filter bowl, since the water usually has a slightly different color from the fuel. I always remove and clean my filter anyway, just to be sure. A touch of grease on the threads of that filter bowl helps with tightening and removal later. Good Luck!
