OX66 Wiring Question

I am rigging a single 2002 (225) OX66. I have duel batteries with a switch. The Yamaha battery wiring harness has two positive leads. One heavy and one lighter gauge coming off the main positive wire. Does the heavy wire go to the common on the switch and the lighter one to a positive terminal on one of the batteries or visa-versa. If you can supply me with the wiring diagram for the unit I would appreciate it. The boat I took the harness off had both positive feeds hooked up to the common lug of the battery switch. I don't think that is correct. Thanks for the help. Mitch

the 2 gauge is for the starting batt
light gauge is aux charge lead for electronics/ etc batt

the common goes to the motor and any other accessories you want it to
the aux lead should go your second batt
