Carburetor corrosion

I recently purchased from Boats.net a new Yamaha P/N 6AG-14301-01 carburetor, which I am afraid to put in service because I am afraid it would get corroded because at my location (Brazil) the gasoline is mixed with ethanol. I would appreciate your advise on wether I should diassembly it and give it a nickel chemical bath (which would give me a tremendous labor) or leave it as is, hoping it will resist this mixture.

What percentage ethanol do you have blended in gas in Brazil?
I would say leave like is, put a good fuel/water filters on and use ethanol treatments in fuel.

Thank you for your response. Brazil uses 20% ethanol in the gasoline.

With 20% I don't know of anything that would help.
