  • Warning Buzzer

Need some experts advise, I have a 1998 S200 Yamaha outboard and I have a warning buzzer going off when I turn on the key and it stays on after the engine is running.
I disconnected the plug on top of the oil tank on the boat which is full of oil, with this plug unplugged the buzzer will stop, as soon as I connect the plug back the buzzer sounds again.
The plug has 4 wires (Brown,Black,Blue,Black/Red)
The tank mounted on the motor is also full of oil.

Can someone advise me how to troubleshoot this oil tank to find my problem.
    Thanks for any help.

Is there a way to test the oil lever sensor, to make sure that's the problem?

      Thanks

Thanks for the chart, I will check it out.
Parts are so expensive I sure don't want to replace it if it's not defective.
What is the best service manual to buy?
          Thanks again
