2000 HPDI 150 oil overflowing problem

Hello,

I have a pair of 150 HPDI LZ150TXRY. Last week starboard engine started smoking and oil tank overfilled. I switch float switch to port engine and put the port engine on starboar and suddenly no oil problem.

I am waiting to see if oil problem happens to port engine now, but today nothing happened.

Do i need to buy float switch? Should i be checking something else?

I am new to boating so i will really appreciate any help.

Probably would need to replace oil level sensor.
