  • Yamaha 6x3 or 6x0 for starboard side of center console.... possible?

I have a center console 15 foot flats boat. In order to save room on the helm, I would like to flush mount the control on the starboard side of the center console. Can this be done with the 6x3 or 6x0? How do you flip the lever around?

You can(The 6X0 would be best choice) but have to relocate the shift and throttle mechanism inside control box to work in opposite direction.

      Thank you.

Any particular reason why the 6x0 is a better choice? Do you guys sell the 6x0? What kind of radius does the cable need to work, for instance could it fit in a Palm Beach style helm like this?

And what is involved with relocating the shift and throttle mechanism?

6X0-48206-12-00(click on part number for price) is available and has a different bezel and no landyard switch which would be in way. My last post had the manual which tells you how to change over and the dimensions.
