Question about a 250 shift shaft?

I have a 93 250 that needs the shift shaft repaced. While the powerhead is off I was thinking of changing the steering arm as well. How much more work is it. Do they make these in stainless Thanks in advance.

It would have to completelt disassembled in order to change steering arm. The one in the Saltwater Series is stainless
