    hi does anyone on here own or have feedback on the v6 f300 new model as im going to buy one for my boat, any feedback would be great thanks jim

      I've got about 15hrs on the 250HP version and am very impressed so far.
      Yamaha recommends 89 octane minimum for the 300 but I suspect you have that covered.

          See 300's all over the place here but very few 350's how come? Are the 350's that more expensive for an extra 50hp?

            There is a couple thousand dolloar difference between F300 and F350 engines but the F350(also first F300) is a V8 and weighs about 800lbs so not too many boats can handle the V8's.
