I have a 1987 50elh that I want to put either a teleflex or a u-flex system on. Looking on the parts micro fiche item # 1 in the diagram appears to be the whole kit, rod included part #689-61350-02-00. This part sells for $84. However item #2 lists the steering rod itself part #689-61351-01-00. This part sells for $113. Is part #2 included in part #1 as shown in the diagram, or do you have to purchase the rod separately? Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

689-61350-02-00 is the complete kit includes all parts needed.

Thanks for the info, that was kind of the deciding factor as to whether or not I changed from my present steering system or not. Now it's a go!
