  • New F250 Offshore Making Oil

Did not find any reports of the new Offshore models making oil.

I check my oil before making a run with 7.5 hours on the clock. The oil level was about 2" high on the stick. Changed oil and removed 8-quarts of oil (this means I had almost 2-qts of gas in my oil).

How are others 4.2L engines doing?

Did it run good? What rpm's are you getting at full throttle? Are you running in cold water?

Are you prop'd correctly? Need to get close to upper end of range at WOT, or any 4 stroke will make oil.

        Yes, ran great.
5500 to 6100 rpm at wot, depending on prop.
        No, water temp 80+ degrees.

Yes on propped correctly, see above.
        Specified range is 5000-6000 .
