My question is about a yamaha 200 -1993 TXRR. Currently there is no trim sender installed. Will this cause the automatic oil transfer pump to not work correctly. The pump works when the manual over ride switch is activated and for a short time after the key is turned on. The automatic transfer of oil is not working while the engine is running. I've already ordered a trim sender from this site and hoping that will resolve my problem. Currently my tach shows that the trim is all the way up all of the time. Thanks

here is a statement from Rodbolt that may help you, "the trim sender is ONLY used on the 1990 to 1995 2.6L V6. only."

Ok. Looks like the trim sender is required for everything to work correctly. When the part comes in, I'll get it installed and see what happens. Anyone know what size screw holds the trim sender in place. I dont have one and the part is now obsolete. ThanksComment
