  • re fuel pressure

2005 f75 no pressure at shrader on vst, replaced pump pinched off hose on fuel pressure regulator, still doesn't attempt to move pressure guage. you can hear pump running and vst full of fuel vst spotless on inside, running non ethanol fuel engine idles fine but will not power up under load. Any suggestions only 100 hours on this engine

I think the fuel pressure for that motor should be tested on the top of the fuel rail. There is an adapter that fits in between the hose and the rail. You have to remove the red clip and pull the hose off. But I am not 1000% without looking. If you didn't have fuel pressure you would not be running. Sounds like injectors might have a problem if you have the vst clean. Pretty sure you check it from the top of the rail though.
