  • Water in oil

I have a Yamaha FT 25 BET and had an issue a year ago with water getting into the oil. My mechanic changed out the gaskets but could not find where water was getting in. The same problem happened less than a month ago and my mechanic did the gasket change out again and could not find the problem. The motor has been used a number of times sinse and guess what? There is water in the oil again. Does anyone know what might be happening?

Check the motor height on boat, may too low in water and sucking water in through exhaust.

Boats.net how would the water make it's way back into the sump? ... the oil on the dip stick is milky.

If the exhaust relief hole on back of mid housing goes under water it will suck water in through exhaust valves into engine.
