Hi, I just acquired a used yamaha tach and harness for my motor. The Yamaha tech was pretty sure it was the right harness. My Solec manual doesn't show exactly where it connects, and upon inspection, the large square end fits perfectly in the plug coming out of the cdi unit(if I unplug that from the main harness). Yamaha place is closed till tuesday, and was just wondering if anyone out there knows where it plugs in? Sincerely Tom

all 3 harnesses should be on the starboard side of the motor, main- large 10 pin, oil- round/black 4 pin and tach- round/clear/booted 4 pin, on a `91. color coded, should be self explanatory.if you indeed have square ends on the gauge and harness, an adapter is needed to join the old style round to new style square.
