  • Stator vs Lighting coil

Ok Im at a loss. 200 HPDI (2001) with about 1000hrs, No charge condition, engine runs perfectly. Rectifier has been replaced, still no change. which is going to be the most likely culprit, the stator or lighting coil? Do they both work to charge or is one involved in the engine running (missing or firing correctly)? Im open to suggestions, sometimes there are parts that people know rarely fail.
    Thanks for any help.

lighting coil furnishes voltage for batteries
charge coils furnish voltage for spark
pulsar coils tell when to spark the cylinders
all of these coils together is what is called the stator is the way I understand it
manual should give the specs and testing steps

      Not sure about the terminology...
Charge coils provide voltage for battery charging
Lightning coils provide voltage for sparking
pulser coils define the timepoint for spark advance or retard in relation to crankshaft position
      Which is correct ?
