  • recirculation valves

I have a 1991 P150TLRP that I suspect has a recirculation valve problem. Lean sneeze and stall at idle. The carbs have been cleaned several times and are spotless, new lift pumps and sparks etc.
My question is whether this motor has recirc valves on both the intake and block. It seems most motors will have them on just one or the other, with just nipples on other end. The intake number is 6E5-11370-00-00 The crankcase number is 624-11379-00-00. Can you verify if one of these numbers is just nipples. I do not want to replace nipples only check valves. Is there a good way to test them. The ones on the block are definitely blowing back to the intake. I have not looked into the intake one yet. Thanks.

Both part numbers are check valves. A check valve is a one way valve and should only be open in one direction.
