How to remove water tube ox66

trying to determine if my water tube is split after weeks of tr0ouble shooting on a 2001 yamaha ox66 225. i have the powerhead off and thought that the tube came through and into the powerhead, but not so.. looking for info into removing the water tube to check for split or blockage..

Have to remove the adapter plate thats below powerhead to get to water tube.
