Anyone know how to access the shift arm under the carburators? It is behind them and even with them off, I still cannot get to it. Arm came out when turning the lower turnbuckle and I was wondering how to insert it.

Could you be a little more specific? What do you mean "Arm came out when turning the lower turnbuckle ( )".
Were you doing a water pump repair and trying to line up the shift rod of the lower unit with the shift rod that goes thru the upper casing?

i think i did the same thing, the upper and lower arm connect and i knoced the upper arm off the shift lever, looks like a real pain to get back together, is there a special trick?
