OX66 Model Year Confusion

Gents, I'm looking at boats with 225 Hp model years '98, '99, & 2000. In all cases the motors are fuel injected and the model number is S225TXRX. But, according to the model code reference chart on this web site. If the motor is fuel injected it should have an X after the S like the 2000 models. What gives?

The earlier models only had the "S" letter on model number but was an fuel injected model.
