I have a '98 40. I was rebuilding te carbs and noticed black plugs the jet housing. Was curious on why this is. I thought that they were supposed to suck and shoot fuel..... Can anyone explain to me why these plugs are in and how it works?
It makes it where all the fuel that gets into the motor comes through the main jets.
There is a side passage from main to idle jet area just to keep from idle jet from pulling fuel directly from bowl
