1997 115hp hard starting when warm

115 starts right up when cold, runs like a top. Stop to fish and have a hard time getting it to start. Seems to flood. Must use choke or throttle up severely. Once started, it runs great again. I have recently removed and cleaned the carbs and it has a new fuel pump, new plugs and new fuel.

Needle valves or something else?? All help appreciated!

Searches here have led me to more of a cold starting problem but no when the engine is at operating temp

seems like I have read something about some motors needing a kit to solve the heat soak like you are talking about, but do not remember which ones or what it was made of. All I can say is keep looking or maybe some one else will chime in
