I have a 2006 2 stroke Yamaha 50 hp outboard. It's almost impossible to start without taking the motor cover off and using the emergency choke to start. Any suggestions?
I believe that motor does not have a choke, it is a prime start model that automatically enriches the fuel mix at start up and then returns to normal after warm up.
Probably need to pull and clean carbs and enrichment system and passages
