power loss gradually on 200hpdi

I have a 2001 yamaha hpdi when I get the engine too plane the boat it gradually looses power , rpms drop from
5000,to 4900,4800 & so on , changed filters and problem continues.....

did you change the VST filter and the filter between the VST and the high pressure pump?

Thanks, for replying.........yes I clean out the vst replaced the screen filter and also replaced the capsule filter between vst and high presure pump.......my fuel tank is clean and pickup tube is in good condition.......i also replaced fuel lines and high presure pump iis new..........question for you, when the mechanical fuel pump goes bad would it just shut down or would it have power loss like im having.....

your describing a classic loss of fuel rail pressure.
you MUST monitor BOTH medium and high presures AT the problem RPM and load.
