  • T50 Squeaking

My 4-stroke T50's make a squeaking, or bad bearing sound around 2000-3500 rpm. Am wondering if anyone has experienced problems with the timing belt tensioner, and if there is a recommended interval for replacing them. The service manual doesn't have any info.
I think the noise is scaring the fish

There isn't an interval for the tensioner but I havn't found any bad yet on the 50HP

      Thanks for the reply.
My engines have about 1400 hours on them. I removed one of the tensioners and found that is quite a bit of lateral play between the bearing roller and the mount. I ordered new ones.
I have seen several other posts where other said that had a squeaking sound, but none ever had any resolution.
      Thanks again
