Help me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all- I have replaced an '06 F115 4 stroke with an '07 250 HPDI VMAX...I'm positive there is nothing wrong with the motor...HOWEVER, I have a few issues
1. I had to reverse the push pull in the throttle. easy.

2. I'm not sure wich harness to buy...61A-ADPKT-94-93 or the 61A-ADPKT-93-94

3. the tilt/trim switch on the remote handle doesn't work. The motor does tilt at the motor.

4. I have a grounding problem....I noticed a ground has been spliced 3 times and each splice is burnt. this was coming from my ignition switch. It got so hot it melted the plastic covering around it. It looks like everything was grounded to the tach and then down to the fuses...which one has melted off!

I'm thinking about ripping everything out and starting completely over BUT I don't want to spend money if I don't have to.

Thats a big jump in horsepower.
The F115 and the Z250 are both push to open throttle, shouldn't have to change throttle arm in control box.
If the gauges are 2006 no adapters required just change tach setting to 2 stroke engine.
If gauges are older than 1994 then need to replace gauge with either
6YR-W0035-E2-00 Multifunction Tach Kit
6YR-W0035-F2-00 Multifunction Tach and Speedometer kit.
Check wiring to trim switch and check switch.

how do I check the trim switch in the handle of the control?
