I have a 50hp 4 cylinder 4 stroke and it started skipplng all of a sudden and I lost about a 1000 rpm not sure if it is fuel or ignition problem but if you revved up the engine it will back fire through the carburetor any answer thanks
Backfire through carb could indicate dirty/plugged carb jets. Can you drain carbs for water or debris. Maybe a fouled spark plug? Check it out. Good Luck!
