  • Help with multi function gauges

    Looking for help on connecting my GPS to gauges. Below is my information.

    Gauges
    Tach- 51L. 6Y8-83500-11-00
    Speed - 75F. 6Y8-8350T-11-00

    Motor
    vz250tlr 60x L 1005269 J

    Boat
    2008 Skeeter I20

    GPS
    Humminbird 798

        I am pretty sure those are not command link gauges so there is no way to display the info on a gps with those. The gateway needs a nmea 2000 hook up which I don't think the humminbird you have has, I may be wrong. But if you have command link gauges then you can wire it through nmea 0183 but that is only going to give you the gps speed on your gauges. Not gauges on your gps.

          I checked again and that is command link what you need to do then is hook the gateway up into your command link buss then you will need a nmea 2000 cable to link into your nmea 2000 back bone of your gps. If your humminbird has that ability. Sorry for the confusion
