    My #5 cylinder is cutting off several seconds after starting up, I am also seeing fuel or oil coming out my prop exhaust. My rpms are also unstable. This is starboard of pair 2000 OX66 250HP, any other questions might be answered in former post dated 8-6-05 titled "#5 cyl loses fire, coil is good"

    There are 3 things that cyl.# 5. The shift switch, Pulser coil and CDI unit. First check shift switch, if it's ok then check pulser coil output voltage to CDI on cyl 5 (white/blue wire and black wire) while running engine, if voltage drops pulser is bad. If OK then CDI is bad.
