I have a 2001 200hp hpdi with about 1000 hours on it.
I fish the Oregon Coast for Halibut and Albacore Tuna which requires traveling 40-60 mile one way trips in the open ocean.
My question is, at what point does one rebuild the power head and are there any other services necessary to perform?
I replaced the water pump two years ago and plan on replacing at the end of this season.
